Dr Denison will present the case studies of Malaysia, Indonesia, India and Thailand to draw lessons for peace building in Asia, since threats to peace among the communities will have an impact on the socio-economic well-being of the region. He will also draw from the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) framework, especially on Goal 16 on Peace and Goal 17 on Partnerships.
The distinguished speakers will highlight the current economic trends and recent development in the region including the uncertainties, challengers and expected risks to the economy in Asia.
The International Advisers will explore ideas and options for the role of a university in an age when the nature of work and re-skilling of students and workers are being disrupted by digital and technological change.
