Intelligent computational technologies in the era of Industry 4.0: What is and what is not

This webinar intends to discuss the key concepts related to “intelligent computational technologies”, such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, big data, predictive analytics, which often create confusion. The principles and architectures underpinning these emerging technologies as well as their application to real-world problems and implication to Industry 4.0 and beyond will be elucidated.
Professor Lim Chee Peng (BEng, MSc, PhD) has been conducting research on machine learning for data analytics and decision support since 1993. With over 450 technical publications and a dozen of international fellowships and awards, he is currently Professor of Complex Systems at Institute for Intelligent Systems Research and Innovation, Deakin University, Australia.
