As you know, GIOAS is an independent, non-profit institute within WOU, that seeks to explore ideas and complexity within open societies. We want to celebrate new ideas to make Penang and Malaysia open to different ideas and create unity through diversity.

 

We are glad to have a private first-time screening of “KITA – Sabah Celebrating Diversity” in Penang.  This is an original and local youth-produced documentary film about the reality, values and aspiration of Sabahans in embracing, celebrating and preserving cultural diversity. The producer of the film, Mr Lim Hock Song will be present to explain how and why he and his young team made the whole film.

We will be very honoured to invite your good self to this private screening of an extraordinary local documentary film which portrays good values, decency and positive lessons as well as being entertaining.  It is a good exposure to understand the diverse living, cultures, traditions and harmonious coexistence between West and East Malaysians.
