Prof. Daniel, currently Senior Research Fellow, H.W. Manter Laboratory of Parasitology, University of Nebraska State Museum and consultant. He spent nearly half a century as a tropical field biologist, growing from basic evolutionary studies, to programs linking biodiversity inventory initiatives with socio-economic development, to a focus on the emerging disease crisis.
